As we come out of the shadows of the global pandemic, we hope you are all in good health. We consider it an honour, to be given the responsibility of hosting the 32nd National Conference of the Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology from the 13th October 2022 to the 16th October 2022. This is the second time that this city has being given this privilege.

The IASGCON, as you know, is a prestigious annual event where gastrointestinal surgeons from all over the country as well as abroad come together and share their knowledge and experiences. The IASGCON not only provides a great learning platform to young budding surgeons and residents but also a forum for experienced surgeons to debate and settle controversial issues. This 5-day conference is attended by more than 1200 delegates and there is participation from each and every surgical gastroenterology and GI Oncology centre in India. We are in a process of finalising the venue and various other arrangements. After a hiatus of two years we sincerely hope to organise this conference on a fully offline an in person basis. As you know, organising such a conference requires active support from the industry. The conference itself will also provide a great opportunity for the industry to showcase, advertise and demonstrate their products to representatives from surgical centres across the country. As a part of this endeavour we will be humbly requesting support from the industry in this regard and we shall be deeply indebted for this. We request you to wholeheartedly support this conference by various forms of academic partnerships as mentioned in this brochure.
